THE GREAT GATSBY 1974 FILM – SCENERY HILL’S FREE OUTDOOR SUMMER FILM SERIES

We postponed this event two times due to weather, the third time will happen! Fingers crossed!

Venture back to the Roaring ’20s to experience the 1974 classic The Great Gatsby against a scenic backdrop of trees and whimsical fireflies. Come dressed in 1920’s attire and bring a friend or date, dressing up is not required. Soft drinks and concessions will be available for purchase. Free spiked lemonade will also be served. Be sure to bring lawn chairs or a blanket, and cash for concessions. The event is sponsored by EQT and the Scenery Hill Civic Committee.

LOCATION
At the North Bethlehem Community Center’s back lawn and playground. Located on School St. Directional signs will be visible the day of the event in Scenery Hill.

PLEASE DO NOT BRING
Food & drinks, all concession funds will go towards The Scenery Hill Civic Committee, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit.

WHAT TO BRING
Blankets, pillows, lawn chairs, warm clothing, and bug spray. Bring a tarp for underneath your blanket if the ground is wet.

PARKING
There is free parking at the location of the event

INCLEMENT WEATHER
If there is severe inclement weather, the film will be screened the following Saturday at the same time. Please check here and/or on our website for weather and screening updates. If no announcement is made, the event will still happen.
