The National Road Festival is a blend of history, music, arts & crafts, food, children’s activities, fireworks and an authentic wagon train. This annual festival celebrates the historic National Road, the first federal road commissioned within the United States which helped to establish settlements from the East to the West. The festival is held the third weekend every May.

Kick off the holiday season in Scenery Hill’s Town Square and at local businesses at the annual Christmas Art Market and Light Up Night! Stroll through the town’s festive atmosphere, marvel at the towering Christmas tree, snap photos with Santa, indulge in delicious homemade foods and treats, and shop for the perfect gift.
